Louise Hesketh is the Visual Arts Development Officer for Halton Borough Council, based at the Brindley arts centre, Runcorn. She was formerly the Outreach Coordinator for the Salina Arts Center, (USA), where she managed the Kansas Reciprocal Arts Touring Exhibition Service(KRATES).
As visual arts officer, Louise's role involves developing and curating the programme of exhibitions for the Brindley arts centre, the provision of community visual arts activities for all ages, and supporting the creative development of artists living and working in Halton.
Louise also works with partners across the Greater Merseywide region to develop and promote the local authority galleries in the area and raise the profile of artists.

Saturday 22 November Wire Sculpture – with Angela Sidwell Using chicken wire and single strand wire, create a garden sculpture based on animal forms with artist Angela Sidwell. All tools, materials and tuition provided but feel free to bring along photos or drawings to inspire your sculpture.
